| B: | Meu amor, você sabe que é impossível responder uma pergunta dessas, né? My love, you know that it’s impossible to answer such a question, right? | |
| A: | Não João, é fácil, fala honestamente, estou gorda ou não estou? No João, it’s easy, tell me honestly, do I look fat or not? | |
| B: | Nesse caso, não, você não está gorda nessa roupa. In that case, no, you don’t look fat in those clothes. | |
| A: | Mas você nem olhou pra mim. But you didn’t even look at me. | |
| B: | Claro que não, e nem preciso olhar, você não está gorda nessa roupa, está linda. Of course not, and I don’t even need to look, you are not fat in that dress, you are beautiful. | |
| A: | Tá. Acho que o azul vai ser melhor. OK, I think the blue one is better. | |
| B: | O azul também está bom. The blue one is good too. |
